The captain of Aris BSA made statements via the official site of the “yellows” about the beginning of the new year and the games that follow during the next month.
“Definitely, we have a difficult playing-schedule and we have to work very hard, to try a lot and to be focused on the games. These games during January are very important for the team because they will have tremendous effects in our goals that we have set for this season. We expect a lot from our fans and we hope to reach our goals at the end. As for the upcoming game against Panionios On Telecoms for the Greek league, I have to admit that they are a team that we know well, as they know us well due to the game we played against them for the Greek cup. We know their advantages as they know ours, but it is going to be a totally different game. We play in our home court and we are going to have the support of our fans. I think that our performance will play an important role in the final outcome of the game. Finally, I think that the one-week rest period will not affect us and we will not have any problems. We have worked hard till now and we needed these days of rest in order to get back better.”
**It must be noticed that the break of the players' association has come to an end after the meeting with the Greek league's council, and the 12th playing day of the league will normally take place during the upcoming weekend.
