ASVEL beat Monaco in the opener of the French League

ASVEL defeated Monaco on the road in the first day of the French League (63-66), thanks to AJ Slaughter’s three-pointer at the buzzer.

It was a close game between the two teams, especially in the fourth quarter, but Slaughter’s three-pointer helped ASVEL escape with the victory.

The American combo guard finished the match with 11 points, with Miro Bilan adding 15. Elmedin Kikanovic had 25 points for the losing squad.

Youssoupha Fall was unstoppable in Strasbourg’s triumph over Cholet on the road (75-112). The 23-year-old center ended the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds, on 12/14 shooting.
