Per Fatih Sabovic of the Hurriyet, Trabzonspor will not play in the Turkish BSL this season, due to financial problems.
The club has not made any official announcement yet. If Trabzonspor confirms the news, though, it will become the second Turkish team that leaves the league because of financial issues, after Eskisehir.
FIBA has imposed a transfer ban to the club and, consequently, the squad has no players in the roster and can’t acquire any new players.
Trabzonspor came close to relegation last season, finishing 13th among 16 teams.
