According to eurohoops.net, the 27-year-old No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams and German EuroLeague club Bayern Munich are talking about the contract.
Last season Derrick Williams was signed a ten-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. During 2 games he was averaging 1 point and 0.5 rebound per game. When the contract finished, the Lakers decided not to extend it and Williams became a free agent.
Despite the fact that Derrick Williams was selected with the second overall pick in 2011 NBA Draft he has never become a full-fledged player. His best personal season was in 2012-2013 as the Minnesota Timberwolves player. That season Williams was averaging 12 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game.
