According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the 34-year-old point guard Jarrett Jack signed one-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. Last season Jack played for the New York Knicks and was averaging 7.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
Jarrett Jack becomes the Pelicans member for the third time in his career. The first time Jack joined the Hornets (team’s name at the moment were the New Orleans Hornets) on November 20, 2010 as part of the deal and played until 2012 summer then he was traded to the Golden State Warriors.
He returned for the Pelicans during 2016-2017 season with ten-day contract but was ruled out after getting injury. During his 13-season career Jarrett Jack is averaging 10.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.6 points per game.
Jack will sign a non-guaranteed deal, allowing him to compete for a reserve point guard spot for Pelicans. https://t.co/MQmKkPUjq0
