Alba Berlin center, Dennis Clifford, suffered an injury and is expected to miss the EuroCup opener.
The 26-year-old big man suffered an inflammation on the patellar tendon and will be out of action for several weeks.
That said, it is likely he will not be available for Alba’s game against Tofas Bursa on October 2.
Clifford averaged 9.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 16 EuroCup games with the German team last season.
