The second round of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers started with Greece and Germany retaining their undefeated streaks (7-0).

Greece beat Serbia at home (70-63) and now are one step away from securing their qualification to the World Cup.

Giorgos Printezis and Nick Calathes had 15 points for the winners, with Giannis Bourousis coming very close to the triple-double (nine points, 10 rebounds, eight assists).

On the contrary, Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 19 points, on 6/19 shooting, and Nemanja Bjelica added nine points and 12 boards.

Greece (7-0) will visit Georgia on September 16, while Serbia (4-3) will host Estonia in Belgrade.

Germany decimated Estonia (43-86) and remained undefeated (7-0), with Dennis Schroder being unstoppable (18 points, 10 assists, six rebounds). In the other match of Group L, Georgia beat Israel (85-80) and remained alive in the qualification race (4-3 record).

In Group K, Bulgaria shocked France (74-68) and Czech Republic prevailed over Russia in a close match (80-78). Moreover, Finland edged Bosnia and Herzegovina (85-81).
