Baskonia saw 11 players leave the training camp, due to the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers that will take place this week (13-17 September).

As a result, head coach, Pedro Martinez, and the team’s administration decided to put their training camp in hiatus for a few days.

Coach Martinez took to Twitter and announced the decision, as the Basques’ pre-season preparation will re-start next week.

The 11 players that will play for their national teams are as follows: Ilimane Diop (Spain), Marcelinho Huertas (Brasil), Matt Janning (Georgia), Vincent Poirier (France), Toko Shengelia (Georgia), Shavon Shields (Denmark), Luca Vildoza (Argentina), Johannes Voigtmann (Germany), Rati Andronikashvili (Georgia), Jurij Macura (Slovania) and Sander Raieste (Estonia).
