Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has urged fans to buy into Luka Doncic now or “sorely regret it” later.

The Slovenian prodigy, who won every major title and individual award in sight with Real Madrid last season at the tender age of 19 has begun his pre-season workouts with the Mavericks – and Carlisle is impressed.

“Off of what I’ve seen over the last two days,” Carlisle told Eddie Sefko of Dallas Morning News, “anybody who doesn’t jump on season tickets now is going to sorely regret it later, that’s all I’ll say.”

Doncic was the third pick in this year’s NBA Draft, picked by Atlanta Hawks but traded to Dallas.

The talented combo-guard spent last season with Real Madrid, where he won the EuroLeague title, the regular season and Final Four MVP awards as well as the Rising Star trophy.

Doncic also won the Eurobasket 2017 title with Slovenia where he was named in the All-Tournment starting five, alongside countryman and tournament MVP, Goran Dragic.
