Per the Italian newspaper, Gazzetta Dello Sport, Jeff Brooks is close to obtaining an Italian passport, which will enable him to play for Italy in September’s WC Qualifiers.
The Italian Basketball Federation has to complete the paperwork by Thursday midnight (September 6), in order for the American power forward to be cleared to compete in the national team’s upcoming matches.
Brooks signed a multi-year contract with Armani Milano during the off-season.
