Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks spoke with Chris Forsberg of the ESPN and picked Phoenix Suns center, Deandre Ayton, as the number one favourite to win the Rookie of the Year award.
“I would say [Phoenix center Deandre] Ayton. He was the No. 1 pick. He’s tall, he’s strong, he can do so many things,” the 2018 EuroLeague MVP stated.
Ayton and Doncic were the number one and three picks, respectively, in the 2018 NBA Draft and are already considered the grand favourites to win the Rookie of the Year award.
