Olympiacos power forward, Dimitris Agravanis, talked to the Greek newspaper “Fos” and referred to his former team-mate, Ioannis Papapetrou, who joined Panathinaikos, the newcomers, his former coach, Giannis Sfairopoulos, and his playing condition.

Here is what the Greek player said:

On Papapetrou’s decision to sign with rivals Panathinaikos: “I believe his behaviour, since we lost the championship in June, was unacceptable, to say the least.

Everyone can join any team they want, however he should have dealt with this situation as a man, since Olympiacos had supported him so much over the past few years.”

On the newcomers: “I like Axel Toupane, he played very well last season, we spoke on social media, I believe he will help us a lot.”

On his former coach, Giannis Sfairopoulos: “When I didn’t play well, he didn’t give me any playing time and that helped me a lot. I don’t think he had lost control of the situation in the locker room.”

On his playing condition: “I am getting ready for the next season and I have almost recovered from my injury. There is no need to say what happened last year, my aim is to work as hard as I can to be at my best next season.”
