The VTB United League announced that Zielona Gora will be added to the 2018/19 championship.
The VTB made the decision to include a Polish team to the championship and Zielona Gora will play in the league. However, it’s still uncertain whether they will take part in the domestic league, too.
Zielona Gora is the third Polish club that participates in the VTB League, following Prokom (2010-2012) and Turow Zgorzelec (2012-2014).
The VTB league also announced that the Finals format will change again, as there will be no Final Four and the postseason will include playoffs until the Finals.
