Two-time Euroleague champion with Olympiacos Piraeus, Acie Law, talked to Euroleague Greece about the Red’s new head coach, David Blatt, as well as the newcomer, Nigel Williams-Goss.
On David Blatt: “There are not many things to say about coach Blatt. He did a great job in Cleveland and was the head coach of LeBron James. There is nothing more to say. He is perfectly capable of getting the job done and will certainly be successful as the head coach of Olympiacos.”
On Williams-Goss: “He is very lucky, as he will play alongside great players, like Vassilis Spanoulis, Giorgos Printezis and Kostas Papanikolaou, while the presence of coach Blatt will be very helpful for him.
He has to work, get better day after day and be mentally tough, as he has no Euroleague experience and may have difficulty in adapting to the top level of European basketball. He has the potential to play very well, though.”
