London City Royals set to join British Basketball League

London City Royals will be joining the British Basketball League after going through several weeks of financial due diligence, it has been revealed.

The Royals will be replacing Leeds Force, who stepped away from the league, keeping it at 12, as first reported by British basketball site, MVP.

The debutants will play their home games at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre with the city of London now owning two basketball clubs for the first time since 1999.

The fixtures for the new BBL season will be released on Monday July 16.
