ΝΒΑ announces salary cap rise

NBA has increased the salary cap to $101.86 million for the 2018/19 season, with a luxury tax level of $123.73 million.

Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN revealed the details of the league’s decision, regarding the salary cap, via his Twitter account.

These figures enable teams to spend more money to sign top players. Yet, this is only the beginning, as there will be a higher rise in the the salary cap within the next couple of years.

More specifically, NBA teams are expected to be working with a salary cap of 109 million dollars in the 2019/20 season and 116 million dollars in the 2020/21 season.
