Serbian playmaker Milos Teodosic will reportedly not extend his current deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.
In a revelation, first reported by Sportando, Teodosic, who has a player option, worth $6.3million, for the next season, that he can exercise until June 24, but his deal won’t become fully guaranteed until July 15.
It is widely expected that the Clippers will decide to waive him before July 15, and because of that, they’d only have to pay him $2.1million.
Teodosic missed 37 games last season, due to a foot injury, and his health is one of the main concerns behind Clippers’ decision. The Serbian, who arrived amid a lot of anticipation averaged 9.5 points a game.
Sportando also reported that Teodosic and his agent is considering a move back to Europe. The playmaker won the 2016 EuroLeague title with CSKA Moscow and he also spent four seasons with Olympiacos.
