Behind a monster showing from Stephen Curry and a triple-double from Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors are back-to-back NBA champions.
The Warriors comfortably defeated Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in Game 4 to seal a 4-0 series sweep.
Curry led the way with 37 points, Durant had a first ever Finals triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists as the latter claimed NBA Finals MVP honours in perhaps the most one-sided game of this year’s Finals.
It was almost like the Cavs gave up after the first quarter as Golden State controlled the contest from the first quarter, leading 34-25 and never looking back.
LeBron James led Cleveland with 23 points and it was revealed that he was playing with an injured hand since Game 1.
