Minnesota Timberwolves’ Nemanja Bjelica says that World Cup 2019 qualification is a top priority as the team prepares for the next round of games.

Serbia play Georgia on the road (June 29) followed by a home tie with Germany (July 2), with Bjelica committed to representing his country.

“We have to qualify for China 2019 and the goal there would be to keep winning and be competitive,” Bjelica told FIBA.com.

“We have the talent and we are ambitious. We want to reach the highest level we can reach and fight for medals and titles. We have exciting years ahead of us and I am looking forward to it.”

Bjelica averaged 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20 minutes, helping his team qualify for the NBA Playoffs
