Zalgiris Kaunas forward Axel Toupane talked to TalkBasket.net about the loss to Fenerbahce in the semi-final, the third-place game and Bobby Dixon.
On the semi-final: “We made many turnovers and missed crucial free throws. We didn’t play good defence in the beginning and maybe we were more nervous, but this is not excuse, as we played better in the second half.”
On the third-place game: “It’s important for us to win and also for the fans that came here to support us. We also want to finish third to end the season in the best way possible.”
On Bobby Dixon: “He did a great job and hit some tough shots. We should have been more aggressive, but he scored 19 points in 12 minutes, we should give him credit.”
