Fenerbahce center Jason Thompson talked to TalkBasket.net about the semi-final, his preparation for the game and Zalgiris Kaunas.
On his thoughts about the semi-final: “It’s a great feeling, being here in my first European appearance. It’s a big moment for me, great to be here. My team-mates won the title last year, so it’s a different atmosphere, we will do our best to win the title again.”
On whether he is ready, both mentally and physically: “I think so. We came here for a reason, to win the title, so we should work very hard to do this.
I have talked to my teammates, how they experience this competition over the years, as a lot of them have won these big games, so I take this information and try to get ready.”
On Zalgiris Kaunas: “They play great basketball at the right time, they are a surprising team, very successful one, but we have to beat them tomorrow.”
