EuroCup legend Mire Chatman inducted into university hall of fame

EuroCup legend, Mire Chatman, is being inducted into the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley Hall of Fame on February 24th, 2018.

Chatman who retired from the EuroCup in 2014 still holds the highest index rating for any player to ever have played in the EuroCup. Chatman finished his career in 2014 as the EuroCups’ All Time Leading Scorer.

While in college, Chatman was a NCAA Division I Honorable Mention All-American, Independent School Defensive Player of the Year while also being 3rd in the nation in both scoring and steals his senior year.

Recently, Chatman proudly accepted a position with the NBA Houston Rocket’s G-League organization, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers as an assistant player development director.
