Partizan had been looking in the market for a point guard after the departure of McCalebb and when everyone thought they would sign an American player, the Belgrade based club announced Bojan Popovic.
Popovic had had his best Euroleague season last year, playing for Lietuvos Rytas and Efes Pilsen, averaging 11.2 points and 5.4 assists.
The 27 year old point guard who stands at 190cm signed a one-year contract.
Popovic came through the youth setups of FMP Zeleznik with whom he made his professional debut. His career highlights was winning the silver medal with Serbia NT in Eurobasket 2009.
