Israel name 24-man squad for this month’s FIBA World Cup qualifiers

Israel has named a strong team, laced with EuroLeague players ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Great Britain and Estonia.

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv players Karam Mashour, Jake Cohen, Itay Segev and Yovel Zoosman have all been included in the 24-man roster.

The Israelis will be hoping to secure the double over Estonia, following their 88-68 win on match night one. While they aim to pile more misery on GB, who have yet to claim a win in Group H from their two games played.

Israel plays Great Britain in Tel Aviv on Friday, February 23, which is followed by a trip to Tallinn to play Estonia on Sunday, February 25.
