Zenit St. Petersburg signs Malcolm Griffin

Zenit St. Petersburg reached an agreement with guard Malcolm Griffin to work together for the remainder of the season, the club announced Tuesday.

Griffin (1.93 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Kolossos H Hotels, where he averaged 15.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, five assists and 1.5 steals in 13 Greek League games this season.

He started his professional basketball career with Wydad Athletic Club Casablanca of Morocco. Griffin has also played for Champaign of the MPBA, Fath US de Rabat and As de Sale of Morocco, as well as for Liepaja Triobet of Latvia before joining Kolossos.

He helped Champaign win the MPBA (Midwest Professional Basketball Association) title in 2015. Griffin is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Zenit.
