Brose Baskets announce on Tuesday that center Tibor Pleiss (213, 20) has signed a new contract with the club extending their relationship for two more campaigns.
Pleiss was drafted for the NBA by teh New Jersey Nets and then his rights traded to the Oklahoma Thunder. However, the player has decided to stay in Europe for his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut this 2010-11 season.
He will have an escape clause for the NBA or a non-German Euroleague team at the end of the campaign. Last season, Pleiss played 12 Eurocup games with Brose Baskets averaging 8.3 points and 5.7 boards.
