Twenty-five year old Australian center who was named as the MVP of the regular seasson in the Euroleague last year is negotiating contract with PAO.
Just one day after GM of BC Partizan Dragan Todoric said to the local media that they have received acceptable offer for Maric today it is known that PAO is the team who agreed terms with Partizan about purchasing Maric’s contract.
There has been some speculation that Partizan is not going to let Maric go unless the bid is in the 1 milion Euros region but it seams that agreed price is a little lower than that, according to the same source the buyout is 800.000 euros.
It is up to Maric to negoitate terms of the contract with PAO but it is almost certain that he will accept what the Greeks are offering and that is significantly higher amount of money in comparison to what he was earning in Belgrade.
Maric will probably be fourth player who will join PAO in the last 3 years, coming from Partizan after Dusan Kecman, Milenko Tepic and Nikola Pekovic.
