Olympiacos close to Kelati

Old habits die young. Olympiacos had signed Thomas Kelati last summer, but later released him on the ground of not passing his medical examination. It turned out that a sharp-shooter is what Olympiacos lacked the most last season and Kelati has proven his excellence in that field and not only that, he successfully competed in most games of last season.

Now the Greek giants are trying to bring back the played they turned their back on last summer. The 27-year old American of Eritrean decent and Polish passport holder, is also examining an offer by Unicaja Malaga, being their first target after the loss of Rafa Martinez. Kelati averaged 8.3 points, 3 rebounds and 1.7 assists, with a 3point percentage of 41.8% last season in the Eurocup helping Valencia go all the way.
