Mantas Kalnietis has stated that Olimpia Milano will not allow him to have absence of leave to play in the World Cup qualifiers.
Kalnietis has also added that team-mate Arturas Gudaitis will not be allowed leave from his domestic duties, either.

Lithuania released their preliminary squad for the upcoming qualifiers, which begins at the end of November.
Both Kalnietis and Gudaitis were not on the 15-man list.
