Lithuania have been given a major boost ahead of their World Cup qualifying campaign.
Shandong Golden Stars has given permission for Donatas Motiejunas to play for the Lithuanian national team in November when they begin preparations for the 2019 World Cup on November 23 against Kosovo and then against Poland, three days later.

Golden Stars originally wouldn’t allow the 27-year-old to compete, even though the Chinese League will take a two-week break during qualifiers.
