Turkish big man Omer Asik is currently being treated at the Mayo Clinic for Crohn’s disease, as reported by American journalist Daniel Sallerson.
New Orleans Pelicans management have stated that there is no timetable for Asik’s return.

Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel infection that can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract.
