Teen prodigy LaMelo Ball owns his own shoe

At the tender of 16, LaMelo Ball has become the first high school baller to get his own signature shoe.

Bear in mind though that the process was easier for LaMelo than most players considering that the make of the shoe is from Big Baller brand, ran by his father LaVar.

The originally-titled “MB1” sneaker, which is due for general release in December for a whopping $395 is described by SLAM Online.

The low-cut MB1 features a two-tone woven textile with a camouflaged one-piece knit upper. BBB is touting it as one of the lightest basketball sneakers on the market. The red heel, black upper and shoe tongue are all made up of suede material. The tongue is a distinctively thin layer, which came at the request of Melo to provide him with less weight and more freedom around his ankles.

LaMelo, the youngest of the three Ball sons is one of the most recognised basketball players in America, outside of the NBA.

He is known for his long range shooting and putting major points on the board. Though his defence has been seen as non-existent.
