After a few weeks of uncertainty, Petteri Koponen is now with the Finland national team for their preparation for Eurobasket.
Koponen had not been practicing with the national team due to an exhausting first season with Barcelona. To begin his campaign in Catalonia, the Finnish guard was hospitalised due to a car accident last summer.

The 29-year-old, who will be playing in his home city of Helsinki this summer with Finland, still managed to average a career-high 10.1 points a game in 22 minutes on court for Barca.
Finland will play France, Slovenia, Greece, Poland and Iceland in Group A, beginning August 31.
