Giannis Antetokounmpo missing for Greece’s London trip

Giannis Antetokounmpo was dominant in his first international match of the summer, but he will be disappearing again next week.

The Milwaukee Bucks star will be absent from Greece’s Eurobasket schedule due to an upcoming tour of China, which takes place from August 15-20.

He missed the four-team tournament in Patras  last week with a minor knee injury but came back for Greece’s game against Montenegro earlier tonight.

This means that he will miss Greece’s friendly against Great Britain in London.

Greece have been flawless in their warm-up encounters thus far in the build-up to Eurobasket with comfortable wins over Romania and Great Britain in Patras last week followed by a narrow victory over Montenegro in Belgrade.

Antetokounmpo had 20 points in the win over the Montenegrins.
