DeShaun Thomas heads to Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv announced Monday that it has signed versatile forward DeShaun Thomas for the coming season with an option for the 2018-19 campaign.

Thomas (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where he averaged 7.3 points in 35 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, all coming off the bench, last season.

He started his professional career with JSF Nanterre, which he helped win the French Cup in 2014.

Thomas also played for Austin of the D-League and FC Barcelona of Spain, with which he reachd the EuroLeague playoffs and the Spanish League finals in 2015. In his 73 EuroLeague career games with Nanterre, Barcelona and Efes, Thomas has averaged 7.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
