Khimki have bolstered their squad further by signing James Anderson from Darussafaka Basket.

The Russian side, who will be returning to the EuroLeague this upcoming campaign make Anderson their sixth signing of the summer. He joins new arrivals Stefan Markovic, Charles Jenkins, Anthony Gill, Tyler Honeycutt, and Andrey Zubkov.

With Darussafaka last season Anderson averaged 9.2 points and 3.6 rebounds. He also shot 35 percent from three-point territory.

Anderson was the 20th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, he was selected by the San Antonio Spurs. After three seasons with the Spurs, the 28-year-old moved to the Houston Rockets and then the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Arkansas native had his first taste of EuroLeague basketball in 2014, when he joined Zalgiris. With the Kaunas outfit, he averaged 14.5 points and 5.1 rebounds a game before heading back to the NBA where he joined the Sacramento Kings.

Anderson provides a great scoring touch for Khimki, especially off the catch-and-shoot and the American is an athletic offensive player in transition where a bulk of his points originate from.
