EA7 Milano picks up Champions League MVP

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan will have a new look in the backcourt for the next two seasons after signing point guard Jordan Theodore from Turkish side Banvit Bandirma.

Theodore (1.83 meters, 27 years old) comes off a stellar season in which he led the Turkish League in assists with 7.1 per game and ranked fourth in scoring with 18.5 points per game. He was named MVP of the Turkish Cup final after leading Banvit to the trophy with a 66-75 victory over Anadolu Efes Istanbul with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.

Theodore was also named MVP of the Basketball Champions League after leading Banvit to the title game; he led that competition with 7.5 assists per game and ranked fourth in scoring with 16.2 points per game.

He has spent much of his professional career in Turkey with a season each at Mersin BSB. and Antalya BSB. Theodore has also suited up for Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico, JL Bourg-en-Bresse in France and Fraport Skyliners in Germany. He won the 2016 FIBA Europe Cup with Skyliners.
