French side ASVEL Villeurbanne has announced the signing of international Croatian power forward/center Andrija Zizic for one year.
The official announcement of the club stated:
“ASVEL Basketball is delighted to announce the signing of Crotian center Andrija Zizic for a one-year contract. Born in 1980 the 207cm center has played in major European clubs like Panathinaikos, Barcelona and Olympiacos.” and continues with coach Vincent Collet statement:
“Is is satisfying to recruit a player of great experience who after a promising start in Cibona and Split clubs had the opportunity to play for major European teams, with the 2006/07 with Olympiacos standing out where he averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds in Euroleague.”

Zizic had to move back to Croatia last year due to personal reasons and had the chance to revive his career over there.
