Panathinaikos has signed talented Lithuanian point guard Lukas Lekavicius.
The 23-year-old joins from Zalgiris where he averaged a career-high 8.5 points in the EuroLeague last season.
The guard had a breakout year in his third season with the Kaunas-based side, leading Zalgiris to their seventh straight Lithuanian league title and was named to the All-Tournament team.
This is Panathinaikos’ first summer signing and it is expected that there will be a major player reshuffle with many new players joining the Athens outfit.
