France international and Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert breakout season has culminated by being voted in the NBA All-Defensive first team.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo landed himself on the NBA All-Defensive second team.

Gobert was almost unanimously voted into the first team by receiving 97 of 100 total votes.

The Frenchman notched 8.9 defensive rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 0.6 steals per game, being a fierce rim protector and agile defender as he became one of the Jazz’s leading players.

Antetokounmpo received seven votes for the All-Defensive first team and 21 for the second where he landed.

The Greek international finished the season with the Bucks averaging 8.8 defensive rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals per game.

San Antonio Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, LA Clippers’ Chris Paul and Houston Rockets’ Patrick Beverley make up the first team.

Anthony Davis (Pelicans), Danny Green (Spurs), Tony Allen (Grizzlies) and Andre Robertson (Thunder) join Antetokounmpo in the second team.
