Kaboom! Vujosevic in CSKA?

Yes…Kaboom! If this turns out to be true. Greek sports website gazzetta.gr, quoting own sources, states that Dule Vujosevic seems to be very close to CSKA Moscow.

According to the article of the Greek website, Vujosevic is in advanced negotiations with the Russian club, yet no further information is given.

Truth be told, this appears to be very odd as coach Vujosevic has been making statements recently about Partizan’s future, which would be weird for a coach that is in advanced negotiations with another club. Not only that but coach Pashutin had a more than decent season, leading CSKA to the Final Four once more and clinching third place despite the reduced budget and the departure of key players.

Vujosevic once tried to coach outside Serbia but failed miserably. The lack of knowledge of English language might be a barrier for him to work abroad but this will not be an issue in Russia where he can assimilate the Russian language easily due to its similarity to Serbian.

The news has been published in Serbian media aswell. Due to the past time of the news we could not either verify or dismiss this rumour, so we will keep you informed of the latest developments regarding this issue.
