Eurocup winners Power Electronics Valencia are seeing a good part of the squad being disassembled this summer, with coach Neven Spahija leaving for Fenerbahce, Matt Nielsen probably following him, Kosta Perovic being on the market due to his big contract and Rafa Martinez having offers from Unicaja Malaga, Caja Laboral and Barcelona.

In this frame, according to tubasket.com, the management made a desperate effort to try to keep one of their top players, recently called for the preparation of the Spanish NT, Rafa Martinez. The club offered Martinez a 3-year extension even though the player is still under contract. Salary is not known, but Martinez should be looking at a generous raise as he is the worst paid players out of the 15 that were call for the NT preparation.
