Serbia and Latvia will be the co-hosts for Eurobasket Women 2019, as voted by the FIBA Europe board on Saturday.
Serbia will organise two group stages in the cities of Nis and Zrenjanin with the final phase being staged in the Belgrade Arena. Latvia will host two group phases in Riga.
Eurobasket Women 2019 will take place in the month of June. The draw for the qualifiers, which start in November 2017, will take place on July 4 in Munich.
“The board were very pleased to see that all hosting bids were of the highest quality and the presentations were prepared in a very professional manner,” said FIBA Europe President Turgay Demirel.
“We would like to thank all three Federations for their excellent work.”
