Zabian dowdell and Gary Neal will most likely not continue with Unicaja Malaga and the planning for next season is well underway. Main targets are Terrell McIntyre who is a free agent and Kosta Perovic of Valencia.
McIntyre is the favourite of Aito Reneses to run the point next season, but as expected his case is complicated since many top clubs are reported to be after his signature, including Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
Kosta Perovic on the other hand is still under contract with Valencia. The main problems for Malaga to sign him lay in his high salary (more than a million) and competition by other top clubs like ACB winners Caja Laboral and CSKA Moscow. Especially the latter is reported to be interested in Cibona’s Jamont Gordon as well, who has the same agent as Perovic, so both players could end up in Moscow.
