Nuggets extend Kleiza

The Denver Nuggets, who own Linas Kleiza’s rights in the NBA, extended a qualifying offer to the player, thus making him a restricted free agent.

Kleiza however is going to stay with Olympiacos next season too according to his agent, Bill Duffy. Main reason for that could be that the Lithuanian international is earning about 2.3 million euros net in Greece, while upon a possible return to the NBA and the Nuggets he would be getting about half of that.

Kleiza averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 4 NBA seasons with the Nuggets and led the Euroleague in scoring last season with 17.1 ppg.
