Unicaja have already started the search for a potential replacement for Omar Cook. According to Spanish media, the favourite to run the point next season is Terrell McIntyre whose contract with Montepaschi Siena runs out this summer.
McIntyre established himself as top-quality point guard in Europe during his time in Italy. He was wanted by several big clubs in Europe in past seasons while he was under contract with Montepaschi.
Another name on the list is Ibrahim Jaaber who also played in Italy last season. Jaaber played for Lottomatica Roma.
Both target players are also on the shortlists of several other Euroleague clubs such as Fanerbahce, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Barcelona.
