Dallas Mavericks resident German Dirk Nowitzki became the sixth player to reach 30,000 career points, further solidifying him as the highest scoring European NBA player ever.
Nowitzki scored the historic bucket during the Mavericks 122-111 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The German ended with 25 points.
And when Nowitzki passed the landmark, Twitter was quick to heap on the praise. Making his feat one of the most trended topics on social media.
