Detroit Pistons big man Boban Marjanovic has said that he will represent Serbia at this summer’s Eurobasket if he gets a call from national team coach Sasha Djordevic.
Last summer Marjanovic was left out of the Serbian national team squad that won silver medal at the Rio Olympics.
But he plans to make a comeback Eurobasket where Serbia will be housed in Istanbul alongside hosts Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Belgium and Great Britain.
“I hope so,” he says. “I hope to be there. It depends, it’s Sasha Djordjevic. If he calls me or not. If he calls me, I’ll be there. I’m available.”
