Rimantas KaukenasItalian media reports that former Montepaschi Siena guard Rimantas Kaukenas is wanted by another Italian team Armani Jeans Milano. 33-year-old veteran was signed by Real Madrid last summer as he was a target of Ettore Messina. However, Lithuanian guard lost the trust of his coach and no longer is in the club’s first team plans. Especially after Real Madrid signed Morris Almond.

Despite still being contracted to his current team, Kaukenas is already attracting the interest of other teams. The first team on that list is AJ Milano who know the player very well because Kaukenas played in Lega during 2004-2009 seasons. Kaukenas would become the third Lithuanian player in AJ Milano’s roster if he is signed.

Rimantas Kaukenas averaged 10.3 points per game in Euroleague this season. He appeared only in three out of four play-off games against Barcelona. His time on the court was limited to just 4 minutes in Game 3.
