After two successful signature sneakers, Kyrie Irving’s latest release, the ‘Nike Kyrie 3’ pays tribute to the NBA champion’s alma mater Duke University.
A first look of the the Kyrie 3, shows a blue and white colourway in a combination of the first two sneakers.
Like the first two shoes before them, the third version of the Kyrie features textured synthetic upper, which wraps from the heel to the lateral quarter plus there’s also a better look at the reinforced forefoot, acting in place of the cross-strap from the Kyrie 2. It’s also a lower shoe, with it feeling lighter on the feet and with comfort in mind
It has been a sneaker that Nike had tried to hold off unveiling until the gods of social media decided that enough was enough and the Twitter reaction so far has been mixed with many preferring the first two editions to the new one.
Other colourways will also be introduced in time, including ones blended in to the Cleveland Cavaliers uniform.
